As we get ready to start the school year, there are several changes to the school staff that we would like to announce.
\nWe will begin with the retirement of Ms. Kathy Arsenault.\u00a0 Ms. Kathy has been a stalwart of Harmony.\u00a0 She is a member of the original team that opened the building in 1997.\u00a0 She has worked as a classroom attendant, daycare educator and most recently as Kindergarten technician.\u00a0 Her 28 years of service to NFSB and Harmony will be greatly missed.\u00a0 We wish her the best in her retirement and know that she will visit us on\u00a0 regular basis.<\/p>\n
With the retirement of Ms. Descombes, the music program at Harmony needed a new leader.\u00a0 We are happy to welcome Mr. Marvin to the team.\u00a0 He brings a wealth of experience both as a performer and a teacher.<\/p>\n
Mme. Julie has moved on from Harmony to pursue other professional opportunities.\u00a0 We thank her for her hard work and dedication and wish her the best in her future endeavors.\u00a0 We are happy to announce the hiring of Mme. Sabrina as the grade 4 French teacher.<\/p>\n
The art program at Harmony will also be led by a new staff member.\u00a0 Ms. Serravalle joins the Harmony family, from MGS, as a full-time art teacher.\u00a0 We look forward to all the creative projects she will lead our students through.<\/p>\n
The physical education department will also have new faces this year.\u00a0 Ms. Paps and Ms. Naps will be the teachers who will guide our students through their physical and health education.\u00a0 They will also be continuing the intramural and interscholastic programs that were started by Ms. Rachelle.<\/p>\n
Mme. Jade continues her maternity leave and will be replaced by Ms. Victoria.\u00a0 We welcome her to the Harmony team.<\/p>\n
With the increasing enrolment at Harmony, we were able to open more groups for the 2025-2026 academic year.\u00a0 This increase in groups gives us the opportunity to increase our staff.\u00a0 Please allow me to welcome Ms. Koryszko.\u00a0 We also welcome back Mrs. K and Ms. Alex as they have received contracts to again work at Harmony.<\/p>\n
Ms. Zimmermann has been hired as the Daycare technician as Ms. Krista continues her maternity leave.<\/p>\n
New additions to the support staff include Ms. Walsh, Ms. Laberge and Ms. Czysewski.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
